Out with the old and in with the new way to lead. In this module, we dispel 3 myths of human-centered leadership.
Module 3: Be Self-Aware
The first of the seven foundational principles of Mama Bear Leaders. Before we can lead others, we have to know ourselves. Learn three non-negotiables for self-awareness as a leader.
Module 4: Know Your People
You can’t lead people well unless you know them. We’re not talking about what their favorite coffee order is. This module teaches you to uncover their motivators, strengths, insecurities, tolerance for risk, and more.
Module 5: Communicate Clearly
Communication is the hardest part of being a leader. By learning and mastering the five Mama Bear Leader Communication steps, you’ll finally feel like an expert communicator.
Module 6: Teach to Hunt & Gather
Training is one of the most critical parts of any job, yet most companies are terrible at training well. We will start by dispelling three myths leaders have around training and delegation. Then we will dive into the 5 stage Mama Bear Leader Training Cycle.
Module 7: Anticipate & Adapt

Kristin Haluch, MHA, is the founder of Mama Bear Leadership Co., built on more than 20 years of leading teams and shaping organizational culture across Fortune 500 companies, venture-backed startups, and nonprofit organizations. Throughout her career, she has managed and mentored hundreds of professionals, launched leadership development initiatives, and designed new hire training programs that have produced record-setting retention and engagement outcomes across multiple organizations.
Kristin currently serves on two nonprofit boards, actively coaching their executive teams to cultivate trust, accountability, and sustainable performance.
